About The Position

Our press operators are responsible for unloading a powder metal press, inspecting parts, and doing quality checks to ensure the parts are within specific tolerances. Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to several elements continuously present including heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise.

Requirements

• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, mental alertness.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process quality parts on powder metal presses of related equipment.
• Use calibrated gauges to properly check and record production on specific tolerances as required by process documentation.
• Follow all safety rules and keep work area clean and in an orderly condition.
• Help train and assist operators as required.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
