As a Press Operator, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH. You’ll get to: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Set-up and operate hydraulic punch presses according to process instructions Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications, including first piece inspection ensuring conformance to blueprint Inspect dies, equipment and perform preventative and general maintenance on machinery Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure all safety guarding is in place and properly working Complete all safety sign-off sheets daily or as needed Maintain clean and safe work environment Complete tasks per interpreted specifications, blueprints, and job orders to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity Document all required production data and verify completion of worksheet (completion of work instruction sheet, identification tags and data entry of labor transaction) Perform other duties that may be assigned Where You Will Work Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM), a division of Stanley Black & Decker, is a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.   • Set-up and operate hydraulic punch presses according to process instructions
  • Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications, including first piece inspection ensuring conformance to blueprint
  • Inspect dies, equipment and perform preventative and general maintenance on machinery
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ensure all safety guarding is in place and properly working
  • Complete all safety sign-off sheets daily or as needed
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Complete tasks per interpreted specifications, blueprints, and job orders to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity
  • Document all required production data and verify completion of worksheet (completion of work instruction sheet, identification tags and data entry of labor transaction)
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned
  • Experience verifying dimensions of parts, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, and / or fixed gauges
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic math – add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction
  • Flexibility in work assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
  • Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
  • Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
  • Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
  • Must be able to work daily and weekly overtime as required.
  • Blue print reading preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
