About The Position

The Printpack-Rhinelander facility has an opening for Press Operator. The Press Operator reports to the shift supervisor assigned and is responsible for the overall efficient operation of the press, which includes, but is not limited to: Accurately document and record information Maintain performance numbers while producing good quality product Facilitate press make-ready, run and wash-up Effectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issues Set up and operating the press in an effective and efficient manner Monitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards Demonstrates timely and effective problem solving skills Provides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systems Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals Demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications Ensures that finished product is produced according to customer specifications Internal Requirements: Must demonstrate Core Values Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues Must have performer or higher rating in last review Demonstrated sense of urgency in production recovery situations Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
