This is a dual‑role position supporting both warehouse operations and printing press production. The primary focus of this role is material handling while learning and assisting across the entire production floor to support press operators and overall workflow. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Ability to multitask, remain flexible, and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and other measurement devices
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Serve in a dual warehouse and press support role.
  • Maintain a materials‑first focus, ensuring production needs are met efficiently.
  • Learn and support operations across the entire production floor.
  • Assist in printing press operations and warehouse logistics, including: Retrieving, staging, and putting away materials. Managing potential inventory. Loading trucks as a secondary responsibility Operating forklifts after training and certification. Delivering materials, inks, and tooling to press operators. Organizing and managing potential inventory. Cleaning equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times.
  • Follow safety rules, operating instructions, and company procedures.
