About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Press Helper to support day shifts, weekend shifts and night shifts. In this critical role, you will ensure the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods in our high-volume flexographic printing facility. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of material handling or warehouse experience (manufacturing/printing experience a plus)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills-critical in our collaborative environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems (CERM OS strongly preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Dependable with strong attendance, especially during 2nd shift

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Stage raw materials and components at production equipment per schedule
  • Safely unload deliveries and complete receiving inspections, including vehicle condition logs
  • Visually inspect incoming materials; quarantine any damaged or non-conforming items and notify appropriate teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized staging area; ensure accurate labeling, storage, and material rotation
  • Restock consumables (e.g., cores, pallets, cartons, film) for press crews during production
  • Conduct physical inventory counts; reconcile with system records and adjust roll counts in CERM OS
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and roll-handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Move finished products to the appropriate staging or shipping area
  • Complete all required paperwork and system entries accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, including routine equipment inspections
  • Assist with general warehouse and dock upkeep, including sweeping, trash removal, and restocking
  • Support both local warehouse facilities as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
