About The Position
Join Our Team at Worth Higgins & Associates! We’re looking for a motivated Press Assistant to help keep our multi-color printing presses running at their best. In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced press operators, learning the ins and outs of high-quality print production while contributing to our team’s success. Requirements
- Manual dexterity to operate computer and press controls and safety guards
- Hearing acuity to communicate effectively with supervisors and all levels of employees and to hear equipment safety alert signals
- Visual acuity to read and interpret job dockets and specifications, identify and prepare job materials
- Verbal skills to communicate effectively with pressroom personnel, supervisors, customers, vendors, technical advisor, training and repair people and all levels of employees
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 100% of the assigned work hours and to step on and off the press
- Must be willing to work night quad shifts. 7PM – 7AM 3-4 nights/week
