About The Position

Maintenance of stamping press equipment and related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment. Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components. Have an understanding PLC logic with the ability to read its functions and the ability to trouble shoot with it. Understand the operation of press equipment and related equipment. Assist facilities with electrical projects. Assist Maintenance Mechanic when needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting press area equipment issues fast and correctly.
Develop a plan for repairing the equipment communicating the solution to their supervisor and implementing it.
Able to communicate with others when they need help to complete the repair in a timely manner.
Minimize equipment downtime to support production.
Has ability to focus on benefits of change and see it as positive; approaches change or newness in constructive/objective manner; views change as learning opportunity.
Looks for good in others; works collaboratively with others; shares information and knowledge.
Is at work when scheduled and ensures coverage when absent; takes timely breaks/lunches; uses time wisely.
When and Where: This will be a Z Shift / 5PM-5AM F-SU position located at our Plant in Pontiac, MI.
Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.
