Press Brake Technician Tommy’s is looking for a Press Brake Technician to operate a CNC press brake to fabricate stainless steel components based off of blueprints. What can Tommy's offer you? Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Organize and maintain work area to 5S standards Follow all safety rules and standards Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Work with other team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Assists in other areas within the fabrication team as needed Assists in other areas within the business as needed Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice. Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes: Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and training. Experience with press brake machinery Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools High willingness to learn Ability to operate forklift, Aerial platform and overhead crane Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders. Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day. Occasional travel to franchise locations.
