About The Position

The Press Brake Setup Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role ensures compliance with all safety protocols, ISO standards, and quality control procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The operator plays a key role in supporting production efficiency, minimizing downtime through proactive machine operation, and performing basic troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.A Day In The LifeAs a Press Operator, your daily responsibilities will include:

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience operating press machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints and specifications.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with machine controls (start, stop, E-stop) and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and technical documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete quality forms and inspection reports accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools and shop equipment (wrenches, air guns, etc.).
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Complete required documentation, including production logs and quality inspection forms, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain machine performance and product consistency.
• Utilize hand tools and shop equipment to assist with setup and minor repairs.
• Monitor machine operation throughout the shift, addressing issues promptly to avoid downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet production goals
