Press Brake Operator – CNC | Fabrication | Experienced
About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position requires prior hands-on experience with press brake setup and operation. Due to production demands, on-the-job training is not available for this role. This is not an entry-level position. Due to current production demands, candidates must be able to operate independently without training. Experience with Cincinnati Press Brake machines is a plus. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of press brake operation experience with setup
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cincinnati Press Brake machines is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines according to blueprints and job specifications
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions
- Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and other precision tools
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
