About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position requires prior hands-on experience with press brake setup and operation. Due to production demands, on-the-job training is not available for this role. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be able to independently set up, program, and operate press brake equipment while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Experience with Cincinnati Press Brake machines is a plus. At Galleher, our people take pride in their work and stand behind the quality of every part produced.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3–5 years of press brake operation experience with setup
Strong math skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Experience with Cincinnati Press Brake machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines according to blueprints and job specifications
Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions
Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and other precision tools
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Perform other duties as assigned
