Press Brake Operator
About The Position
Safe and accurate setup, operation, and monitoring of press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to engineering drawings and production specifications. Position Description: - Set up press brake machinery based on work orders and blueprints. - Select appropriate tooling, dies, and programs for each job. - Adjust machine parameters (pressure, angle, back gauge) to specification. - Conduct test bends to verify setup before production runs - Operate press brake to bend/form metal parts to required tolerances. - Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and prints. - Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, gauges). - Identify and report deviations and quality concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Must speak English or Bilingual
- Must have previous experience operating press brake machinery
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints, work orders, and layouts.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
