About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brakes, ensuring quality bends and dimensions, and keeping production on schedule.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and BOMs
- Experience working with different metal types and gauges
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of CNC press brake setup and programming a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brakes safely and efficiently
- Select, install, and align tooling for required jobs
- Adjust gauges and tonnage to achieve precise bend results
- Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and material specifications
- Use measuring tools to verify bends and flanges meet tolerances
- Perform basic shop math (fractions, decimals, tolerances)
- Assist with CNC setup and programming as needed
