About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work with various tooling. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial part in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in metal fabrication.
• Proficient in bend sequences, flat patterns, and bend deductions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with various tooling.
• Ability to mentally dissect a 3D model and understand radiuses.
• Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to perform a full range of bodily motions, including bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate metal components.
• Interpret blueprints and bend callouts to produce accurate parts.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the manager and team leader to solve problems and provide solutions.
• Train and mentor other team members as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the fabrication shop as required.
