About The Position

The position involves setting up, operating, and adjusting various machines and equipment to produce quality parts. The role requires the use of precision measuring tools and adherence to safety and quality standards while working efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce quality parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards.
• Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
• Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Remove burrs, alter shape, improve fit or smooth finish using hand tools or power tools.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
• Work efficiently while keeping safety, quality, and production standards in mind at all times.
• Promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
• Perform any other task as asked by the leadership team.
