About The Position

As a Press Brake Operator at New York Air Brake, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on the press brake, setting up the machine accurately, and interpreting blueprints and customer specifications. You will ensure that quality inspection criteria are followed for all parts run or bent, and you must understand and support all quality, product safety, and health/safety/environmental/energy policies. This position reports to the Production Manager and requires adherence to relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two + years of previous press brake-related experience

• Perform Preventative Maintenance for Press Brake
• Proper set up of Press Brake machine
• Accurate interpretation of blueprints and customer specifications
• Insure that quality inspection criteria are being followed for all parts run or bent
• Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies
• Adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations
• Support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions
• Support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree
