The person in this position assists the Press Operator in all areas of operation of the printing press. Responsibilities include demonstrating commitment to safety and performing job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, demonstrating commitment to quality and performing job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines, performing general maintenance on equipment, loading paper into the press, maintaining ink and water levels, operating the feeder, washing up the press, and playing an active role in the cleanliness of the assigned equipment and surrounding area. The individual will also understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements, actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.
