About The Position

Rider University is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as its eighth President. The successful candidate will be responsible for articulating a comprehensive unifying vision for the University and developing strategies to address the challenges faced by higher education in the 21st century. This full-time position requires a strong academic leader who can enhance academic excellence and ensure long-term financial stability while fostering a collaborative campus community.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a strategic leader in higher education.
• Strong academic credentials, preferably with a terminal degree.
• Demonstrated ability in financial management and resource development.
• Experience in fundraising and building relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a leadership role at a similar institution.
• Familiarity with NCAA Division I athletics and its governance.
• Knowledge of accreditation processes and standards.

• Serve as the chief executive officer of Rider University, reporting to the Board of Trustees.
• Develop and articulate a comprehensive vision for the University.
• Enhance academic excellence and ensure long-term financial stability.
• Foster a dynamic academic community with vision and commitment.
• Build relationships and engage with various constituents of the University.
• Demonstrate strong financial management skills and fundraising ability.
• Communicate openly and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
