About The Position
OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a 254-bed acute care facility located in Rockford, IL, is seeking a President to lead the organization. This role reports directly to the Western Region CEO and is pivotal in ensuring that the medical center operates in a fiscally responsible manner while fulfilling the strategic objectives of OSF HealthCare. The President will be responsible for directing all internal operations of the hospital, developing and implementing short-term tactics that align with long-term strategies aimed at providing high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services. The President will oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical center, setting the annual operations plan and executing a regional management plan. This includes ensuring sound fiscal operations, compliance with organizational standards, and the delivery of high-quality care. The President will also manage the annual operations budget, including requests for investments in new services, and will be responsible for maintaining the hospital's accreditation with The Joint Commission. In addition to operational responsibilities, the President will leverage relationships with key directors within the organization, including the Director of Finance, Director of IT, and Director of Patient Care/CNO, to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the facility. The role also encompasses responsibility for surgical services and the Colleges of Nursing or Rural Health Centers, as applicable. The President will play a crucial role in recommending investments in new lines of business and services to the Regional CEO, ensuring that the medical center meets or exceeds operational standards set by accrediting agencies.
