About The Position

The President & CEO of United Way of Lane County is a strategic leader responsible for advancing the organization's mission through community impact and equity-driven strategies. This role requires a strong commitment to addressing the needs of underserved communities, particularly ALICE households, and involves overseeing the organization's operations, fundraising efforts, and community partnerships.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
• A minimum of five years managing teams of 10 to 50 employees, including senior leaders.
• Experience in driving high-level strategy and making critical decisions impacting multiple stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of issues faced by ALICE households.
• Proficiency in technology, including MS Office and data/accounting software.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Intimate knowledge of the community served by UWLC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and implementation of community impact initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities and expand community partnerships.
• Cultivate resources and funding streams to ensure sustainable funding from various sources.
