The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is seeking a visionary and exceptional leader to serve as its next President & CEO. This role is pivotal in managing the human and financial resources of the Foundation, which is dedicated to the preservation and programming of two of the most significant architectural sites in the United States: Taliesin and Taliesin West. The President & CEO will be responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the organization, ensuring that the Foundation achieves its mission, vision, strategy, and annual fundraising goals. This position requires a leader who is approachable and personable, capable of engaging the public and developing relationships with allied organizations and donors to secure funding for the Foundation's initiatives. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Frank Lloyd Wright, engages in a broad range of activities including education, preservation, and influencing the development of architecture and design through collaborations. The Foundation maintains and preserves the buildings, landscapes, and collections at Taliesin West and Taliesin, both of which are National Historic Landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, welcoming over 130,000 visitors annually. The President & CEO will oversee a senior staff of six and an overall staff of 100, managing a $12 million annual operating budget while reporting directly to the Board of Trustees. The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, exemplary managerial skills, and a proven track record in fundraising. They will be responsible for maximizing the value of the Foundation's assets, implementing strategic plans, and representing the Foundation to various stakeholders. The CEO will also focus on the long-term sustainability of the Foundation by increasing private and public funding, overseeing financial management, and fostering a mission-centric work culture.
