Prescription Refill Representative
About The Position
Part of a centralized refill team in a multi-specialty ambulatory care medical group. Handles all incoming prescription refill requests for the medical group providers. Under the direct supervision of a licensed provider, responsible for the review and processing of prescription refills from phone, fax, and electronic requests following an established medication protocol. Requirements
- Coursework/Training and Complete coursework to obtain Pharmacy Tech License
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Upon hire: California Pharmacy Technician License
- 1 year of Pharmacy technician experience
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Pharmacy technician experience in retail pharmacy, refill center, or health plan.
- Epic EMR or EHR experience.
