About The Position
At The Learning Experience, our teachers create joyful, engaging classrooms where children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Through our L.E.A.P. curriculum, we support school readiness while helping every child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a dependable Preschool Teacher to guide children ages 3–5 in a structured, nurturing early learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required
- Strong classroom organization and communication skills
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and engaging setting
- Implement lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and social development
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance
- Observe developmental progress and support individual learning needs
- Communicate regularly with families about classroom experiences
- Maintain compliance with Virginia childcare licensing standards
