Requirements
- Outgoing, creative, and energetic personality with excellent communication skills for engaging parents and children.
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare center, specifically with children aged 3-5.
- Knowledge of preschoolers’ social, emotional, and creative needs.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for program facilitation, child safety, and emergencies.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree (or progress toward one) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for a group of preschoolers.
- Ensure compliance with all Primrose, local, state, and national regulations for child health, safety, and care.
- Maintain an inviting, organized classroom that fosters creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making.
- Provide clear expectations and positive reinforcement for children’s behavior.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties for the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
- Attend required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions.
- Uphold a professional appearance per the Primrose Employee Handbook.
- Assist in additional capacities as directed by the Director or designee.
