About The Position

The Learning Experience in Elk Grove is seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Teacher to guide children as they explore, grow, and build confidence in a nurturing classroom. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys fostering curiosity and supporting developmental milestones for children ages three to five. What You Will Do Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment Support social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development through play based learning Plan and implement daily learning activities and classroom routines Guide children through meals, transitions, and structured learning times Communicate consistently with families to build strong relationships Implement The Learning Experience award winning L.E.A.P. Curriculum Maintain a clean, organized, and joyful classroom California Requirements Must meet California licensing requirements At minimum must hold twelve ECE units CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain What We Are Looking For Experience in preschool, childcare, or early childhood education preferred Positive, reliable, and attentive to safety and detail Passion for early childhood learning and development Compensation: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour The Learning Experience At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.

Requirements

Must meet California licensing requirements
At minimum must hold twelve ECE units
CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
Positive, reliable, and attentive to safety and detail
Passion for early childhood learning and development

Nice To Haves

Experience in preschool, childcare, or early childhood education preferred
