About The Position

St. Joseph Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and faith-filled educator to lead our 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool classroom. Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices
  • Ability to create engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for 3- and 4-year-old students
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
  • Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills
  • Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and development
  • Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and values into daily routines
