About The Position
The Learning Experience – Gainesville is hiring a dedicated Preschool Teacher to guide children ages 3–5 in a structured early learning environment focused on school readiness and social-emotional growth. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting early literacy, math foundations, and independence through hands-on, play-based learning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preschool or childcare experience required
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and engaging setting
- Implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills
- Maintain structured routines and classroom organization
- Observe and support children’s developmental progress
- Communicate with families about milestones and classroom activities
- Follow all Virginia licensing and safety standards
