About The Position

Kiddie Academy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join their team. This role involves planning, managing, and supervising the classroom and children, ensuring a positive and educational environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Teacher and contribute to the overall development and well-being of the children in their care.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain required continuous education per the Texas Department of Health and Human Services for childcare providers, including CPR/FIRST AID for adults, children, and infants.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of childcare experience (preferred)
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in the classroom and take over when the Lead Teacher is not present.
• Address concerns from parents, children, and classroom staff appropriately.
