About The Position

Under the guidance of the Director and Lead Teacher, the Aide is responsible for assisting with shift responsibilities. These responsibilities include team teaching, student engagement, execution of the daily lesson plans and schedules, room maintenance, positive discipline, communication, and being accountable for the health and safety of each child.

Requirements

• Previous experience with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and a love for children

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the health and safety of each participant
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily curriculum
• Build positive relationships with the children and parents
• Floats to different classrooms and ages as needed
