About The Position

The Preschool Teacher position at Kindercare Learning Centers involves creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Teachers are responsible for implementing a nationally recognized curriculum that supports children's social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members to ensure the success of the center.

Requirements

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• 1+ year of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in physical activity with children.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to work indoors or outdoors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in early childhood education (1+ year preferred).
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement KCE's curriculum tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Communicate and partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and accreditation goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community contacts.
