About The Position

During the interview process, you will complete the application and then visit each age group to gain a comprehensive understanding of our culture, teaching philosophy, and expectations. At Goddard Henderson: We are NAEYC certified. There is a difference between "preschool" and "daycare"! You will always be supported and never out of ratio. We're here to help you and answer all of your questions. You will have all of the resources you need to succeed in your classroom. Requirements

Kind, nurturing, and a positive attitude
Ability to obtain live scan fingerprinting
Ability to obtain a negative TB test
Ability to obtain CPR card and complete all state-mandated courses within 30 days.
High School Diploma at minimum, C.D.A., Associates, or Bachelor's preferred
Reliable Transportation (please see location)
Able to work any shift between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Help children improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
