About The Position
Next Generation Children's Center, part of the Cadence Education family, is currently seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children and possess prior experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education. As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with a team of dedicated teachers and staff who are enthusiastic about child development and learning. In this position, you will be responsible for encouraging a positive learning environment for all children within the center. You will document and share important milestones in each child's day with their parents, collaborate with other teachers to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum, and respect and observe children's interests. Your role will also involve intervening when necessary to maintain safety, enhancing children's play with language, toys, and activities, and modeling appropriate social behavior. Additionally, you will contribute to planning a daily schedule that balances various activities, ensuring a well-rounded experience for the children.
