About The Position
Mi Casita is a Spanish immersion preschool dedicated to fostering a love for the Spanish language among young learners. Our unique approach ensures that all classes are conducted in Spanish, with the ultimate goal of achieving fluency by the time our students graduate. We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years, providing a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes their social, physical, cultural, and intellectual growth. As a preschool teacher at Mi Casita, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a project-based learning curriculum that aligns with our educational philosophy. Your role will encompass ensuring the safety and hygiene of the children, facilitating developmental activities, and managing specialized programs. You will also play a crucial role in communicating with parents and maintaining classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness. Communication with the children will be conducted exclusively in Spanish, reinforcing their language acquisition in a natural setting. The teacher assistant will support the preschool teacher in these endeavors, contributing to the overall learning experience of the children.
