About The Position

Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Preschool Substitute to support all classrooms at our premier preschool in Natomas . Requirements

  • 12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education.
  • Infant and toddler teachers will be required to have 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units completed.
  • OR an awarded CDA in the assigned age group.
  • A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to often carry and lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In general, this position requires an individual to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language. In addition, this position often requires an individual to carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend. This position is regularly required to hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
