About The Position

ECE Subhub is a company that provides early childhood teachers to public, private, charter and religious schools as well as Montessori's and standalone Early childhood educational centers. We only educate little people, so that is children birth through 5 years old. We provide staff for these institutions on a permanent level (the entire school year) as well as a temporary level (sick calls, vacation, until they hire a new staff member, medical leaves etc.) At ECE Subhub, it’s not just about the students having fun and growing; we want our incredible staff to love what they do. The Lead or assistant teacher will be an educationally qualified person to lead and or assist federal, state and tuition based classrooms. Do you enjoy singing, dancing, and puppet shows? Requirements

• Must have one of the following: An associates bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with or without a ZA endorsement, Social Work, Family Studies, Youth Studies, Human Services, Child Development or a Michigan Teaching certificate for K-6th grade
• CDA or 18 college credits in early childhood education
• Must be willing to be available to work between the hours of 7-6pm
• Must be able to work when notified the morning of or the evening before
• Able to cover schools from Romulus to Ann Arbor

Responsibilities

• Engage the children in a fun environment that is full of song, dance and animated voices
• Follow lesson plans around the children's interest within the curriculum provided
• Maintain a safe environment at all times and be able to work effectively with co-teacher/s
• Work toward goals for each individual child that are set by the parent and teacher
