About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Preschool / After School Substitute Teacher to join our team. As a substitute teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in our educational programs in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and follow established routines
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children

Responsibilities

• Implementing lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
• Providing a safe and supportive learning environment for preschool-aged children
• Engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Supervising children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure consistency in daily routines and procedures
• Communicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding daily activities and child development
