About The Position
As a Preschool Spanish Teacher at Stratford School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children between the ages of 3 and 5. This position offers an opportunity to engage preschool-aged children in immersive Spanish language experiences. Candidates who are enthusiastic about promoting language development in young children are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in: Child Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Program/Curriculum OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English language
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and implement Spanish curriculum
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
- Communicate daily with parents or guardians
