About The Position

Life Prep Early Learning Center is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Preschool Professional to join their team. This role focuses on creating engaging and fun learning experiences for preschool-aged children, fostering a love for learning while ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will be skilled in classroom management and possess a strong commitment to teamwork and ethical decision-making. The position emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and professional growth, aiming to empower children through inspiring educational practices.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• At least 6 semester hours of early childhood education courses for credit (Childcare/teaching degree strongly desired).
• 90 clock hours or the equivalent of approved early childhood coursework.
• Two to three years' experience working with preschoolers in an approved setting, or one year of college (30 semester hours), or a combination of experience and college that equals one year of college.
• 9 hours or more of approved training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public.
• 3 clock hours in ADA compliance.
• Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Favorable Medical Evaluation within the past 6 months.
• Successful completion of a thorough background check.
• Basic Health & Safety training must be completed within 3 months of hire.
