About The Position

The Preschool Part-Time Paraprofessional will support the educational process by assisting teachers in the classroom. This role involves working with preschool children to facilitate learning and development in a nurturing environment. The paraprofessional will help implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individual support to students as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the classroom with instructional activities.
• Support the social and emotional development of preschool children.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
• Prepare materials and resources for classroom activities.
