About The Position

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team! This role leads a classroom of potty-trained children ages 3–5, focusing on building independence, confidence, and kindergarten readiness through hands-on learning and positive guidance.

Requirements

Meets Minnesota Lead Teacher requirements or is willing to work toward qualification
Experience with children ages 3–5 preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for early childhood education and helping children grow
AA or CDA with two years experience OR B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience OR A similar mix of education and experience
12 post-secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field Or B.S, in any field
Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Create and implement fun, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
Lead a structured preschool classroom that promotes independence and self-help skills
Support children in daily routines, including toileting independence and hygiene
Foster social-emotional growth through positive guidance and redirection
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Observe and assess children’s development and communicate progress with families
Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure a consistent, supportive classroom experience
