About The Position
The Learning Experience – Ramsey is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with preschool-aged children in a structured, play-based learning environment that supports school readiness and social development. Our preschool classrooms focus on building confidence, independence, and early academic skills through hands-on learning, consistent routines, and positive guidance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented
- Ability to meet all New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom activities in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement age-appropriate lessons and routines aligned with The Learning Experience curriculum
- Guide children through daily transitions, learning centers, meals, and rest time
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow all state licensing requirements and center policies
