Requirements

ECE certification required.
At least 6 months of professional teaching experience required; 1+ year preferred.
Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) .
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Must meet Massachusetts state childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach co-teachers; model best practices and provide supportive feedback.
Manage all aspects of classroom operations to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
Inspire a love of learning using a growth mindset and positive guidance.
Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum for toddlers and preschoolers, adapting activities to meet individual child needs.
Communicate daily with families about learning, milestones, and classroom experiences.
Partner with center leadership to meet quality, engagement, and enrollment goals.
Build meaningful relationships with coworkers and families to support a collaborative community.
