About The Position

Temporary PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER/Director: Deadline to Apply: April 10th 2026 4pm Center: Bolivar Broadway Head Start, Bolivar Mo Work Status: M-F/7:30-3:30/Job Starts in July and goes through Aug 31st. OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Lead Teacher . As the Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen. You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice. This position provides supervision to co-teachers and is responsible for maintaining State Licensing and Accreditation Standards as well as Federal Head Start Performance Standards. Requirements

Minimum of Early Childhood AA/AAS degree. Copy of transcript required with application.
Supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Development or related field.
