About The Position
Fillmore Elementary School is seeking dedicated and caring Preschool Instructional Assistants to join our Community Preschool team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidates will support classroom instruction, assist with small-group learning, and help create a positive, nurturing environment where our youngest learners can grow academically and socially.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering a caring and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities
- Assisting the classroom teacher with instruction and daily activities
- Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development
- Supervising students to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment
- Helping prepare classroom materials and maintain organization
- Collaborating with staff and families to support student success
