About The Position

The Preschool Inclusion Teacher Specialist will be responsible for providing support and services to students with disabilities in a preschool setting. This role involves collaborating with other educators and specialists to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. The position is part of the Student Support Services team and is essential for fostering an inclusive educational experience for young learners.

Requirements

• New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped OR Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate.
• New Jersey Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to preschool students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement inclusive practices.
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of all students.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs.
• Provide training and support to staff on inclusion strategies.
