About The Position

The Regional Office of Education #13 is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education to children in our community. Our Preschool for All program ensures that all children, regardless of background, receive the foundational skills needed for lifelong learning and success. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool for All Classroom Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to join our team at our Bartelso Elementary and Damiansville Elementary sites. This position involves teaching in two half-day programs across two sites, requiring daily travel between locations.

Requirements

• Possess or be eligible for an Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsement in Early Childhood Education.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily between program locations.

Nice To Haves

• Early Childhood Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and the Preschool for All guidelines.
• Create a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members across both sites.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, support staff, and site administrators to ensure program quality and consistency.
• Conduct ongoing assessment and documentation of children's progress using approved assessment tools.
• Travel between assigned sites to deliver a high-quality program at each location.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and required trainings.
