About The Position

Introduction: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Preschool For All Paraprofessional to join our team and provide high-quality education and care to young children. The paraprofessional will be responsible in assisting the teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans, supervising and interacting with children, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members. Responsibilities: Assisting in developing and implement lesson plans that are age-appropriate and align with state and national standards Supervise and interact with children, including conducting individual and group activities, reading stories, and facilitating play Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, including enforcing rules and policies and addressing any behavioral issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Illinois Paraprofessional license Minimum of 2 years of experience as a para-professional or teaching assistant Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload Ability to work collaboratively with other team members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus Perks: Competitive salary Paid time off Professional development opportunities Positive and supportive work environment View all jobs at this company

Requirements

  • Illinois Paraprofessional license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a para-professional or teaching assistant
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
