About The Position

The Preschool Director at Learning Care Group is responsible for overseeing all school operations while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. This role involves managing staff, implementing educational programs, and ensuring compliance with licensing standards, all while fostering a positive environment for children and their families.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements.
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans.
• Assist with the implementation of the company-provided curriculum, coaching teachers and communicating standards.
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Create an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote a positive image of the company and enhance its reputation in the community.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
