About The Position

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Preschool/Elementary Dance Instructor to lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate dance classes as part of our after-school enrichment program! This is a fantastic opportunity for a dance educator who enjoys introducing young children to the joy of movement, rhythm, and expression through multiple dance styles--while creating a memorable experience for families.

Requirements

• Experience teaching dance to preschool and early elementary-age children (ages 3-10).
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate class pacing.
• Ability to create and manage fun, structured classes with clear routines.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and a love for working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Background in early childhood education or enrichment programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead introductory classes that explore a variety of preschool dance styles including ballet basics, jazz and creative movement, and hip-hop for tots.
• Focus on motor skills, coordination, rhythm, and creativity.
• Build toward an end-of-session showcase performance in May.
