About The Position

Under general supervision, the Preschool Classroom Floater provides quality care to children in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Works flexibly within the daily schedule to anticipate and respond to the needs of the Center including, but not limited to, staff coverage in classrooms, clerical assistance, cleaning duties, and food preparation. Understands and implements naturalistic intervention strategies to assist children with special needs. Ensures that the center meets or exceeds governing regulations.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent (diploma and/or transcripts must be provided).
• 1 year of experience in a related field.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA.
• First Aid Certificate.
• CA Driver's License.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• 12 units in Child Development, including specific courses.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities
